Turning 30 has made me more reflective than a normal birthday…

The feeling I have is one of immense gratitude. There is someone up there most definitely weaving a story together with your life, whether you know it or not. This past year more than ever I realized I may not be the one with the control of the steering wheel as much as I realize…and that might be a good thing.

I believe everything in life should be geared towards the glory of the One who created you. The opportunity has been to make real estate, investing, and even this newsletter a facet of that. I haven’t always done a great job about giving glory to Him versus self-glorification but at year 30 the invitation is still open, I see.

Thanks to you for following along. It’s amazing to see just how many people let me know they read this newsletter and find value in it. Taking the time to open a newsletter in a cluttered inbox takes intentionality, and for that I say thanks.

In year 30 I hope to slow down a bit. Enjoy the simple things in life. Become a better dad. Get more involved in my community. Keep investing and watching the compound effect, take effect, of course.
